A biological cyst harvested from Necrolei formations — large, purple weed-like organisms anchored to the seafloor in deeper biomes. Necrolei Cysts are the primary ingredient for Strong Acid in the Processor, making them an essential mid-game resource for Power Cells, Dedicated Cores, and vehicle construction.
Where to Find Necrolei Cyst
Deep Biomes (150m+)
Best SpotNecrolei formations are large purple weed-like organisms found in deeper water past the shallows. Each formation yields multiple cysts when harvested with the Survival Multitool. They grow in clusters on the seafloor and rocky surfaces.
Alien Ruins Region
~1,200–1,800m east of Lifepod
Higher density of Necrolei formations in the deeper biomes surrounding the Alien Ruins. Efficient to farm during Bioscanner-related trips to this region.
